Five for Friday, February Currently and a Sale!

I love Friday, because well it's Friday!  And because I get to link up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for her Five for Friday.  Even better is that it's also time for Oh' Farley's February Currently.  Seriously, both on the same day?  Loooooove!

1.  Last Sunday, I went to Whole Foods to pick up a quick dinner.  After I got there, I realized my "slippers" (what Hawaiians call flip flops) were 2 different shoes.  :/

2.  One day this week, I walked by my 7-year-olds room and saw this......her staring at herself in the mirror for an EXTENDED period of time.  Seriously, she didn't even know I was there while I took the pic and watched her.  I'm beginning to be concerned about her teenage years.

3.  One of our chrysalis finally turned into a butterfly!  We got to release this one on Wednesday.  I have more chrysalis left.  I hope the rest of them turn.  I have 2 possibles for the weekend.

4.  This is my crazy Great Dane, Harley, in her stand-off with a HUGE snail.  This was as close as she would get to the snail but was having a fit.  I do believe the snail won the round since Harley was terrified.

5.  These AWESOME social story books by Julia Cook came this week.  I read about them on The Lower Elementary Cottage's blog and knew I had to have them.  We already read The Worst Day of my Life EVER!  I seriously love them!!  They go along perfectly with the rules and skills I'm trying to teach all day.

Now onto the February Currently.  I so look forward to them every month!  I love reading what others put on their Currently's.

Is anyone else as exhausted as I am?  By Friday evening, I don't want to do ANYTHING.  But somebody really needs to do some laundry around here.  I guess that someone is me but I just don't wanna!

Let's talk about pet peeves.  One thing that drives me BONKERS is when kids put their arms in their sleeves and/or stick their knees in their shirts.  Does this drive anyone else crazy?  I feel like the this pet peeve may not even be rational, but it is soooooo annoying to me!

I'm also excited to announce that on Sunday my TpT store will be 20% off all day.  If you use the code SUPER, TpT will give you another 10% off for a total of 28% off!  I'm really excited about this big sale, because that means I can stock up on a ton of things on my wishlist.  Shhhh....don't tell my husband but I have over 100 things on that list.

Thanks to Ashley Hughes for this adorable graphic.

  3. The flip flop mistake was hilarious and done many times in this household! Love the books, I may need them for my own child :) I've noticed almost every Currently post I have read mentions needing to do laundry. I personally loathe this chore!

  4. That is a completely rational pet peeve! I always get after my kids, too on that one! I use the "And what happens when this building catches on fire?" line and they quickly stick their hands back through their sleeves. Maybe its a little too harsh... :-D but realistic. We had a little girl break her nose last year because her knees were stuffed into her shirt while sitting in her chair.

  5. Happy Aloha Friday!! Sorry you had such a rough week!! The beach always makes things better :)) My daughter is 8 and is always in the bathroom staring at herself, changes her outfits about 5 times a day, and the other morning told me I should change my shirt because she didn't like it!! I am nervous about the teen years! Hope the laundry gets done by someone else and you are able to rejuvenate.

  6. I must say that I am always jealous of your pictures. It looks gorgeous there and when I look out my window all I see is snow and more snow. I'm glad that groundhog didn't see his shadow, because I am ready for spring!
I am totally with you on that pet peeve. It bothers me too when kids put their arms in their sleeves. I just know they are stretching their shirts out (or at least that's what my dad always told me growing up)!
And good luck with your daughter. My daughter is 10 going on 18...attitude and clothing obsession to match! There are days I'm ready to move out, too!

    Have a great weekend!

  16. Hi everyone, I want to sincerely appreciate the team PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST for the dedication and time they put into working my credit. My credit was very bad, I had drug crime and criminal records due to my divorce, DUI/DWI and one late credit card payment of $30k which affected my credit score so badly. I was trying to purchase a home for my family and also secure something for my kids in the future but I got turned down even before pre-approval, it was very devastating. My mom read about PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST on CK and informed me. I contacted them after reading some testimonies about them myself. They ran my credit report, analyzed the credit score and determined which action will have the greatest impact. They raised my credit score to 811 across 3 credit bureaus and deleted all negative items on my credit report, within 6 days. They made it work and I have a clean credit profile now. My heart is full of joy. You can reach them on +1 (323) 406 1225. OR their EMAIL: PINNACLECREDITSPECIALIST@GMAIL.COM

  17. I worked my ass off to get my credit score up to 800. Then some people stole my identity and all my money. It ruined my life. I’m a single girl and I wanted to buy a house one day. I have to confide with my elder in church who then recommended PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST, showing proofs of some other person in the church that PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST has helped fix their credit. I didn’t hesitate to contact PINNACLE and I’m glad I did because they returned my credit score to 809 across the credit bureaus, wiped out all negative items and also removed the FEDLOAN student loan that shows in my four different accounts. They also assisted my parents to fix their credit report. Quickly use their email: PINNACLECREDITSPECIALIST@GMAIL.COM / +1 (323) 406 1225.

  19. Hello, MYFICO members. I love this forum, and have been reading/ learning for a couple of years. I was looking to purchase a home at the end of last year, by that time my debt only was $2,500 car note. My MMS was 690. My current lease is up for renewal in DEC. 2022. It is a 2 years lease. I had an Auto loan, which brought down my credit score to EQ 591| TU 522| EX 594. (AUTO SCORES: EQ 624| TU 642| EX 622) AAoA: 7yrs 8 months. 3 charge-offs with a balance: $20,441, $20K and $603 that update monthly. 3 old paid charge-offs $0. I’ve been struggling trying to build my credit over last year. Sincerely from my heart I’m saying THANK YOU to PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST for the service I got from them which I never imagined would be possible. A member from this forum posted a positive review about them, that’s one of the reasons I said I love this forum. I needed a credit repair service which I gave them a trial. I’m telling you today I didn’t regret taking that step, PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST has turned my credit around by giving me an EXCELLENT SCORE of EQ 803| TU 809 | EX 815. They also gave a clean credit report. I’m heading now to purchase a home. When I get approved I’ll update you guys again. BIG THANKS to PINNACLE, I LOVE YOU ALL. You can get them by email: PINNACLECREDITSPECIALIST@GMAIL.COM / +1 (323) 406 1225.

  20. My credit score was stagnant at around 560 for TU, EX and EQ. Currently, I was waiting for my charge off and late payment to fall off. My credit goal is 780, which is 220 points from where I was. I was wondering if it was possible to increase my score by 220 points because of the late payments and charge off on my credit report. Until a friend directed me to PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST, I tell you I didn’t regret adhering to that advice to repair my credit. I’m better now and my credit score is 800s across board and all late payment and charge off has been removed permanently from my credit report. You too can contact them: PINNACLECREDITSPECIALIST@GMAIL.COM

  21. Hey guys I’m 23 I had several late payments because I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I was in the hospital for a while. Then I lost my job, started using my credit cards to pay bills and maxed them. I had never missed a payment before I had any of my issues. I had collection accounts but they don’t show on my 3B report. I had 20 accounts which are my negatives. All this brought down my credit score to Equifax 496, TransUnion 518 and Experian 490. The best option I got was to get myself a credit repair company which my local attorney recommended to me as a PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST to me. I didn’t hesitate to contact them and I’m glad I did because PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST turned in my credit score Equifax 809, TransUnion 811 and Experian 803. They wiped all the negative items from my credit report. PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST also assisted my parents to fix their credit report. Quickly use their email to reach them: PINNACLECREDITSPECIALIST@GMAIL.COM

  23. I strongly recommend 760Plus Credit Score. They really helped me so much, after already paying a con-artist who just took my money and did nothing for over a year, I discovered 760PLUSCREDITSCORE AT GMAIL DOT COM in a credit forum, they immediately showed results and even guided me on what my best solution for my trade in for a new vehicle would be with a lower approximate % and not to mention how well they inform me and explain to me everything that's going on with my credit. Thank you the team at 760Plus.
