May Currently

Yay!!!  It's May!!  That means I'm soooo close to summer break.  And it means that it's time to link up with Oh' Boy 4th Grade for her monthly currently.

May also happens to be my favorite month, because it's the month of my birthday!  Woohooo!

I'm loving this Survivor season!  Does anyone else watch this season?

Now that we've moved into base housing, my kids can play for HOURS every day after school.  There's a TON of other kids their age here and a park at the end of our cul de sac.  It's seriously soooo nice.  This is what life is supposed to be about.  I do need to figure out a way to eat dinner before 7pm though!  I see a lot of sandwich nights in our future until  summer break starts.

Is anyone else EXHAUSTED?  I am seriously wore out.  Every day it's a huge effort to get out of bed and drag myself to work.  I am just wore out.

I cannot wait for summer.  My oldest daughter is graduating high school.  How in the world is that even impossible?  I'm so excited to spend my days at the beach, reading good books, and taking naps.  The best part is that my best friend is coming to visit us for 2 whole weeks in July!  So excited to show her Hawaii!

Only 17 more days left of this school year.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed they pass quickly with way less tantruming, hair pulling, scratching, and hiding under tables than I've had the last 2 days from one of my students.

  1. Nothing worse than waking up in the morning and being so exhausted that you have to drag yourself out of bed! Hope that your last days go quickly so you can enjoy your summer break and recharge. :)

  2. Hawaii...that is awesome! I have always wanted to visit. I hope you are able to catch up on some sleep soon. We only have 17 school days left, and I am so excited!

  3. Feeling for you! The end of our school year here is in December but I'm sure the exhaustion, counting down and just plain wishin' for the year to end is the same. Good luck :)

  4. I am a major SURVIVOR fan. This has been such a great season. Last night I was just wishing it was next Wednesday so the saga could continue. My cousin is in the army and I spend most of my summer planning to see them or going to see them. They have moved four times in the last five years with six kids. Thanks for reminding me to link up with Currently. I'll do it sometime today. Countdown to SUMMER!! GO COCHRAN!!

    1. I'm not a big Cochran fan, but I do love Survivor. I loved it the other week when 3 idols were played at the same time and Richard was finally out!

  5. I have 25 school days and less than 2 months until I arrive in Hawaii! I can't wait to get all settled in, find a job, and get to meet you! I can't wait!!!

  8. I'm so with you on the sleep! I stay up way too late since I want to just be with my hubby and kiddo when I come home. So any extra work doesn't happen until the kiddo is down for the night. Going on 2-3 hours sleep several nights in a row is not working for me. :P

  9. I can't wait for summer either! Although my daughter isn't graduating HS, she's graduating 8th grade and I can not believe I have a child entering HS and will be off to college in 4 years. My brain can't wrap around it.
    Take care,
