I love participating in Doodle Bug Teaching's Five for Friday. It really makes me think about the week and what has happened. And I enjoy seeing snapshots of everyone else's week.
Here's a bit of my week:
1. On Monday, our household goods were delivered! Yay!!! We had a lot of this! :D
2. When it was unpacked, it looked more like this. :/ Luckily, my husband is good at organizing and managed to get the majority of it put away while I was working.
3. As we opened the boxes (still not all done), we found several like this. :(
4. On Wednesday, I saw not ONE but THREE rainbows on my way home from work. :)
5. I have to give a shout out to something I've been using my Kindergarteners. They're still working on writing their letters and letter sounds. I LOVE this Alphaheroes! pack by Growing Kinders. The graphics are super adorable and all of the pages are incredibly useful. <3
I hope everyone had a great week!
Oh my gosh, looking at all of those household goods makes me excited and anxious at the same time! Organizing stresses me out, but I love it! lol You must be very lucky to see 3 rainbows!

Having all that stuff made me super anxious. But once it's organized I feel so relieved and calm! LOL. I love seeing the rainbows here. I hope I never get to the point I don't appreciate them!

Good luck with the move. It's tough, but hopefully you will feel settled soon. Renee
ReplyDeleteThanks! Coming home to sit on my own couch has already helped me feel more settled!

Oh no to a broken bowl! The joys of moving. That was my least favorite part of buying a house, the unpacking and finding the things that didn't make the journey as well. :( I love that Alphaheroes pack as well. I use it for morning work with my kiddos.

We still have a storage unit full of unpacked stuff. I'm scared to go through it and see what else is broken. So far only one major thing but my husband thinks he can fix it. I hope so!

Even though Hawaii is the rainbow state, I still feel like I'm so lucky when I see one!

Thanks! We've gotten enough packed where we feel settled. Now I don't want to unpack anything else. LOL.

Moving makes me a little sick, I am so sorry that some of your stuff was broken. Rainbows?? You must have moved to Hawaii. My husband lives there now and I am still in California, sigh. I am your newest follower.

Yes, we moved to Oahu. Where is your husband living? Will you be making the move over here?
